Salesforce Commerce - Release Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Release Manager with 6 to 8 years of experience in managing software releases, specifically within Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) environments. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality-driven delivery of software solutions by effectively coordinating cross-functional teams and managing risks

What we ask

6–8 years of experience in Release Management, with strong focus on Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC).
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in complex release cycles.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Experience with release tools and dashboards for scheduling and KPI monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Salesforce B2C Commerce or Release Management tools.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Background in DevOps or QA is a plus

What you do


Release Planning & Coordination:
Plan and manage release content, schedules, and environment readiness.
Maintain the enterprise release calendar and coordinate across multiple teams (development squads, QA, DevOps, third-party vendors, and product owners).

Governance & Quality Assurance:
Oversee and validate Go/No-Go decisions for releases based on scope, readiness, and risk.
Document and enforce release processes and standards.
Conduct post-release retrospectives and drive follow-up action plans.

Communication & Reporting:
Serve as the central point of communication for all release-related activities.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on release status, deployment progress, and issues.
Monitor and report on key release KPIs to measure success and identify improvement areas.

Continuous Improvement:
Drive process enhancements to streamline release management practices.
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to implement automation and efficiency initiatives.
